One cannot walk too far in Tiran without encountering a vicious Rambala.

A border town to begin with, Nirav turned into a place harboring Kalik skeletons and Majri spiders when the people of the town began to riot for no reason but for the business that had dwindled. In the cold, dreary ranges, there was nothing else to do. Insanity descending slowly upon them, the people accused each other of treachery and fraud and set upon each other. Probably only at their graves did they realize that their death had no cause, no sense, and so the dissatisfied souls rose once again – as Kaliks. Majri the spiders made their nests in the ruins, following the rise of the Kaliks, because such is their nature.
Nirav, with snow winds eternally blowing, and the cold, brown buildings standing stark, is a place where danger lurks in every possible corner.
