Plants and planting
When you start playing, you’ll be able to cultivate 2 different plants: Carrots and lettuce. Your first step will be to start planting, your second to water your plants (by using the watering can – if you want to). Once your plants are grown, you’ll be able to harvest them (by using the sickle).
Note: Watering your plants will make them grow faster. The effect of watering lasts for 24 hours. Once those 24 hours have passed, you can water your plants again. After you have harvested your plants, they will show up as seeds in your shelf (in the appropriate glass).
You’ll receive points for every harvested plant, which will help you rise from level to level. Once you reach a new level, you will be able to plant and purchase new products. In the beginning you’ll have to fight against weeds, tree stumps and moles. Once you have earned your first Gnome Bucks, you’ll be able to get rid of them in no time!
Decorations
The hardware store offers decoration to make your garden prettier. Every decoration needs to be placed in your garden for at least a day. Once you have added the decoration to your garden you will have to wait 24 hours before placing it somewhere else, deleting or selling it.
Contracts
You can also send out contracts, i.e. send plants to other players without additional shipping charges. After having opened the folder in your menu bar, just choose the goods you want to sell and drag them into the wheelbarrow, enter an amount per piece and don’t forget to enter the recipient. Click “send” and you’re done. You’ll receive your payments in gB as soon as the recipient has accepted your contract.
Harvest helper and Watering helper
Right above your customers your will find a small helper gnome that will help lighten your daily chores as gardener by harvesting all your finished produce with just one click. From level 2 onwards he will be joined by another gnome, who will water all your plants with just one click. Unfortunately he’s not fully trained yet and just spending his internship with you, so he’ll only be available to you until Level 5.
Getting places
On the bottom right of your fence, next to your customers, you’ll find a bike. Use it to visit the village Green Valley. There’s lots to discover in Green Valley – to find out, look up Green Valley inside the help. And now enjoy playing Molehill Empire.

FarmVille, a free online farm simulation game available through Facebook, has been accused of generating “hundreds of millions of dollars” from unsuspecting players, many of whom are children.
FarmVille has soared in popularity in the UK and US since its launch in June and has 63 million users, many of who are young teenagers. The game, which is the largest on Facebook, allows members to manage a virtual farm by planting, growing and harvesting crops, trees and livestock. According to Zynga, the company which developed the game, users have built more than 40m virtual farms, more than 20 times the number of actual farms in the US, and on an average day purchase 500,000 tractors to till their land.
