Diamond City
In the city you can find different Creatures and tavern owners who will help you grow stronger, they are called Trainers.
Creature: There are many creatures in diamond city, they range in all levels big and small. Some drop special items for quests. There are others that need to be killed in certain amounts to meet a quota for quests. ie. 10/50 Large Rats Killed.
Trainer: There are trainers to level up at every bar in diamond city. Training to go up in level gives you a Stat bonus each level to your attack and defense. You can also buy more supplies as you level up. In addition every time you level up your minimum experience locks at the minimum for your new level. Skill points are awarded every even-numbered level beginning with level ten. These skill points can be used to buy the skills you want on your character.
Quests
Quests offer the opportunity to obtain great items, large amounts of experience, and just have a fun time. There are quests for all levels, beginning with the First Quest all the way up to the Epic Quest for the Sacred Blade of the Order. Quests are generally divided into 6 categories:
Training Grounds: Self explanatory
Collection Quests: These require giving an item, or items, to a mob to complete the quest
Kill Quests: Kill a set number of mobs
Combined Quests: Quests with numerous steps
Items Quests: Quests that reward you with an item
Crew Raid Quests: Quests that involve solo steps and raids
For the truly brave of heart, there are also Epic Quests that are very long, but give huge experience and some of the best items in the game.
Equipment
Glows
Glows are a visual effect on certain items. Sets, gods, and quest items often have glows, and each set has a uniform glow color and size. Glows are used to designate and group special items from regular diamond city drops from mobs. The glow itself has no bearing on the stats of an item. Items always have the same glow throughout the game, i.e. a Government belt always has a green glow.
Sets
Sets are an important part of the game. While some can be obtained by killing random mobs in the area we know to be Diamond City the majority will come from participating within crew raids.
Item Rarity
Item rarity is what defines an item and its value. Some items are basic and dropped every few kills in Diamond City which would make them more of a commonplace item. Other items however can only be achieved via raiding and hard work which makes their rarity and value much higher on the worth ladder.
Combat
There are three basic forms of fighting in outwar:
Player v.s. Player: Also known as PvP. You can attack other players in the game directly. You can also attack a player you see while roaming around Diamond city.
Crew Wars: Crews can war other crews in Outwar. Leaders are the only ones that can declare war on another crew. Wars last three days. Experience locks and level locks do not exist during a war. Crews can also add wagers to the war. Points and items are examples of what can be put up in a war as a wager.
Player v.s. Environment: Also known as Attacking mobs, dc’ing. You can attack all the creatures in Outwar. Some creatures cost more rage than others. Creatures also vary in levels as you travel around Diamond City (D.C.). This is a great way to gain experience for leveling.
