Caribic Islands is a browser based game. Here, you are the sovereign of your own island. Choose an ocean to start off and stake your claim for your first island, build a village center, then employ a lumberjack and set up a gold mine and a quarry, to gather enough resources to develop your own self-sufficient community. Build barracks to train your soldiers, erect a protective wall to ward off enemy attacks and set up a research lab to develop new weapons.
Discover new islands around you with your fleet, spy on your enemies and send your battleships to attack anyone that opposes you. But make sure to find trustee allies or you wont prevail in the world of Caribic Islands!
Gameplay
Tearing down buildings
A building may only be torn down every 24 hours. If you are attacked while tearing down a building, the process will start from the beginning once the attack is over.
Attack
To attack another player you’ll need a harbor, ships and a crew. Go to your harbor and send your fleet by entering the coordinates of your enemy’s island. As soon as the fleet arrives you will receive a combat report that includes both your own and your enemy’s losses. If your combat report is empty you have lost your entire fleet and there’s nobody left to bear witness.
Island takeover (colonization)
To colonize an island (colonization) you’ll need a colonization ship and a fleet of battleships, as well as a crew. But before sending your fleet to your enemy’s island, make sure to wipe the island first. Bomb the village center to level 1, as otherwise your colonization will fail! In any other case your colonization chances are around 70%.
Espionage
To spy on someone all you need is a small battleship. Every other ship (except for the transporter) works just as well.
Transport
To transport resources you’ll need a transporter. after having built your transport, simply enter the coordinates of the island you want to make a delivery to. You may also transport units, but to transport them you’ll need a battleship (small or large) or a warship.
Attack protection
Just as every other game, Caribic Islands has a newbie protection. This is an attack protection phase that lasts exactly 25 days. During that time you cannot be attacked or spied on. As soon as you want to attack somebody else, however, you will need to cancel the attack protection phase. The attack protection phase will also be canceled if your account has been inactive for 72 hours.
