Street Racers is browser-based multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). You will be racing against other racers, participate in tournaments, buy and sell cars and their parts.
All the cars and car parts in this game are modelled in 3D and nicely rendered. There’s no upper limit on what level you can be, you grow as much as you want and there’s nobody there to stop you from doing that.
New cars and car parts are constantly being added to the game.
Story
After sun goes down, street racers come to streets of the city. They are racing each other, taking part in illegal tournaments.
There are racer gangs, so called Clubs. To join a club, you must first win some tournaments. Clubs have members-only racing zones. Every club sends their best racers to the club zone to take part in tournaments and win prizes, money and glory.
Gameplay
Car characteristics depend on parts that are inside of it. Player can effectively handles a car that has the same or lower level as the player. Each part has its own range of levels and it fits to the cars that have a level in that range.
Races. You can race:
- for free against the players you find in the “Races” window, you get only experience here;
- for euros from a player information window, you can get there by clicking a player in the “Top”, you only get experience here;
- participate in city “Centre” races for money.
Tournaments. You can win money and silver cups in tournaments. Silver cups are needed for joining a club or creating your own club. Silver cups are also used to calculate player rating. Sometimes you can also win prizes.
Club zones. You can win gold cups in club tournaments. These cups are used to calculate the rating of a club. Only club members are allowed here. Winners of first 3 places get a city recommendation. Recommendations are needed in order to participate in the grand tournament. Also the fastest player of the winning club can win prizes.
Grand tournament. In order to participate in this tournament you need to gather recommendations from 6 cities. You can find out which cities are still missing in “Account” page. In this tournament you can win flags, that are very important when calculating player ratings.
Rating. Player rating is calculated according to the formula: ( 100 x Flags ) + ( 10 x Silver cups ) + Experience. Club rating – according to Gold cups.
Club
Club membership is one of required stages of the game, providing some advantages to the player.
Club garage
Here club members can put their parts and cars, freeing up some space in their own garages. In addition to that, members with permissions can give things from club garage to other club members.
Club ratings and levels
Club rating is calculated according to number of gold cups. After collecting a specific amount of cups, it is possible to increase club level. The higher the club level, the more members it can contain.
Club member roles
The owner of a club can give permissions for others to do specific things. For example: give things from club garage to fellow members, give club money to others, invite new members to the club.
Club wars
The owner of a club can declare a war to another club. At the same time the club can have a war declared against a single another club. War is active for 24 hours after declaring it. In the races among members of the clubs at war, winning club takes one cup from the defeated club. The cup is not taken, if the club has no cups. Although club can only declare a war to a single club, it can be at war with more than one another club simultaneously, this happens if the other clubs declare a war against this club.
