Basics

You can play Tagoria free of charge. After you register, you become a warrior in the lands of Tagoria. Your objectives are besting other warriors and, with the help of the gods, becoming one of the most powerful warriors of Tagoria.

You can gain Experience Points by fighting other warriors, plundering, or completing quests. Once you have collected a certain amount of Experience Points, you will reach a new level.

You should also train your properties. Apart from the Training Points you get for reaching new levels, you can also receive additional points in exchange of amber stones. There are many different ways to earn those amber stones, e.g. you can work, complete quests, plunder, trade, or assault other warriors.

Story

“Oh, fragile human creature! Are you certain you are ready to hear the answers to the questions you are asking? Then hear me:

Your dreaming eyes rest upon the lush green lands of Tagoria. Already, long before your inexplicable longing to come here has finally brought you to me, you were a part of it all.

It was a long time ago, before you left to seek your fortune in the cities of far away places. You do not remember, do you? You once lived, worked, and fought here! You once celebrated your victories in the lands of Tagoria! This was before you laid down your bloody axe, swearing to never raise it again.

This is the land where you once confronted the monsters of your darkest nightmares, fighting for your life, your homeland, and your future. And now you come back? What is it that brought you here after so much time has passed? Has your past caught up with you? Are you looking for answers you could not find in the cities you have dwelled in? Then why do you still hesitate? Are you scared to meet your fate? Are you afraid of the truth? Your old cave, who lives there now? And your brothers and sisters, are they still alive? And are you still worthy of joining them? Will they welcome this stranger from a far away place? Or will they reject you and send you into the dark and lonely night to sleep amongst the wild beasts? Can you still be of use to this brotherhood of warriors? Are you still the same brave and ferocious warrior at heart? Someone who makes his own laws and decides over life and death with the strength of his arm?Or have you become a useless coward and a burden to those around you? Is a quick death the best fate can offer you? Are you too afraid to find out? If not, take a deep breath, and enter the lands of Tagoria to find out who you really are! ”

Attack

You can initiate an attack on another warrior. In these one-on-one fights, you can gain amber stones as well as experience points. After a victory, you receive between 5 and 10% of your opponent’s stock of amber stones.

Up to and including level 6, you may only be attacked by opponents whose level is not more than 4 levels above or below yours. Once your character reaches level 7, you can be attacked by everyone.

Horde

In order to join or form a horde, you have to be at least level 6. As a horde member, you enjoy certain advantages, but you also have duties. If you want to form your own horde, you have to pay 1000 amber stones. In return for your 1000 amber stones, you get a horde territory with stage 1 housing. The horde territory can be upgraded to higher stages by either the Warlord or the Captain. The higher your territory’s stage, the more members your horde can have.

Village

In the village you can buy items for your character, accept missions, trade items, work, offer youself as a mercenary or hire mercenaries.

Druid:
At the druid you can accept missions, have your items enchanted, or strengthen your Horde for battle with a Battle Ritual.

* Quests: To start a quest, you must use one quest point. You can use up to 3 quest points (premium players 6) per day.
* Item enchantment: Here you can enchant and disenchant items from your inventory. You can put as many enchantments on an item as there are sockets on that item. An item with 2 sockets can be enchanted twice.
* Battle Ritual: If you are a Horde Captain or a Horde Warlord and you have a battle scheduled, you can strengthen your Horde, or everyone fighting for your Horde, with a battle ritual.

Blacksmith: Here you can buy and sell metal items

Farm: At the farm, you can send your character to work. The higher your level, the better your pay will be. You will recieve your pay from the farm when you have finished work. If you are working at the same time as a battle, you will stop working and be called into battle.

Market: At the market, you can buy and sell items. You can also exchange items. Rune Stones, Rare Items and Set Items can only be exchanged.

Arena: You must have a stake of amber stones to bet and be at least level 6 to fight in the arena. If someone accepts your challenge, they must bet the same amount as you, and you will meet in the arena to fight. The winner receives the stake of both participants, minus an arena fee of 5%.

Mercenary Register: At the mercenary register, you have the opportunity to offer youself as a mercenary from level 6 and above. As a merecenary, you have the duty to go into battle with at least 90% health. You should therefore go into the Horde Camp as soon as possible, or strengthen yourself with medicines. If you do not do this, you will fight in the battle, but will not receive your mercenary pay. The Horde that engaged you as a mercenary will get your pay back after the battle. If you take part in the correct manner, you will receive a positive mercenary rating and your pay.

Mountains

There are 6 different areas in the mountains( Valley, River, Canyon, Ruins, Volcano and Mines). There are many different monsters to challenge in each location. In the mountains you can complete quests that have been set for you by the Druid. You can also receive items and amber stones from the monsters you defeat.

If you do not want to accept a mission from the druid, you can explore the mountains independently. If you choose this option, you can choose any region to plunder. In every region you will find different monsters to attack. Every plunder costs you 1 action point.

Battle

Here you can see all upcoming battles and if you are listed for one or more of them. From level 6 on, you may choose to join a battle to fight for either of the two sides.

When you are listed for a battle, you can choose to enter the camp. The advantage of being at the camp is that you heal faster and that you cannot be attacked. The downside is that you will not be able to perform any actions. You automatically use your best equipment for a battle.

Cave

You can upgrade your cave in stages. The higher the stage of your cave, the faster you will regenerate Life Points. You can also upgrade your entrance, which increases your caves defense bonus. The regeneration rate and the defense bonus only apply when you are at home though.
