GP Manager Pro is an multi player on-line motor racing management game. In GP Manager Pro you take up the gauntlet of running your own grand prix team. Lead your team well and win races to reach the top of your league, make money and improve your team. GP manager pro runs a league system that’s based on your leaderboard points tally. Get the most points and get to the 1st division!
The stage is set, you’ve just got your license from the Governing body and you’re ready to rough it with the big boys! You’ll start with nothing, a tub you’ve assembled that is not much more than a go-kart! You’ll need to get a tyre and engine supply sorted out pretty quickly, but don’t worry, there are plenty of those available, at a price.
The real challenge is going to be keeping your team in the black, whilst keeping up with your opponents both on and off the track. It’s one thing to win a race, but quite another to mould your team into something that can compete for Championships on a regular basis.
You can Practise & Qualify at any point during the day. Then, a race is run overnight. You can check the results the next morning and get your team ready for the next race. You’re going to need a shrewed pit strategy and a bit of luck to win races.
Leagues
When you create an account, you’ll start in the bottom league. At the end of every season, teams are re-distributed amongst the leagues. You’ll move either up or down the leagues depending on where you are on the leaderboard. You gain points on the leaderboard not just for doing well in races, but also for winning sponsors, upgrading your facilities, and improving your research. This means you’ll always be amongst teams of a similar strength to your own.
10 races in a season
There are 10 races in every GPMP season. You’ll compete for points in every race (10 for 1st place, right down to 1 for 8th), and throughout the season you’ll be competing for both the Drivers and Team championships.
1 Race every night
At the same time every night (the exact time changes depending on which server you play on), a race will take place. Make sure you’ve got the necessary contracts in place before the race, or you’ll miss out. Also, put some quali laps in, or you’ll be starting from the back. There is no ‘off season’ in GP Manager Pro. Once the last race of the season finishes, you’ll start in a new league with new challenges right away.
