IronHoop is a free online game where you get to lead a virtual basketball team to glory, in competition with other participants from all over the world.

The goal of the game is to become a world champion with your team and to prove that you are number one manager in the world! It wont be easy though, and you’ll have to use your management, trading and tactical skills to the best of your ability if you want to stand a chance amongst thousands of other players from all over the world.

Scoring System

League

Each club is competing in its region for first place in the league. In each league there are 8 different clubs where each club playes twice a season with each other. Each season has 14 rounds and it lasts for 7 human weeks. After one week pause another season starts. Every win gives your club 2 points and defeat 1 point. At season end if two clubs have exact number of points first what is looking to separate them is goal difference and second who has given more goals. All ranks have more similar leagues shown in table below divided in 4 regions (north, south, west and east).

Cups

There are two type of cups; official (regional and international) and friendly. In regional cup there are 512 clubs from each world region, where world is divided in 10 regions. There are 9 rounds of regional competition, every wednesday where semifinal and final are held last weekend after season is over.

In international cup there are 1024 top clubs from all over the world. Matches are held every sunday while top 8 clubs play matches last weekend after season is over.

In friendly cup competition can register any club. On page Cup Masters can be found list of all cups where each manager can register his club. All cups can be international, regional or country cups where matches are held on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Transfers

Scouting for new player can be done by two scouts. Each scout depending on managers demands will find a player. If offer is adecquate player can sign a contract with the club.

When player is put on transfer list, his manager will negotiate with several clubs and bring you an offer. If player is sold his annual salary will be removed from clubs expenses.

Economy

Revenues and expenses of club can be found on page economy where funds are used mostly for players annual wages.

Stadium

Each club starts with small stadium, capacity 500. Stadium can be extended step by step for one level up. Each stadium extension needs extra time and gives a club extra financial bonus.

Trainer

Trainer can be bought with trainer scout. Trainer can be sold so additional funds will be available. Superior trainers have high wages.

Trainer has two skills (defensive and attacking). Each of those skills empowers club in that particular field. Trainer can have from 1 to 5 each of skills where 5 is maximum.

Trainer influences on clubs form. As greater trainer is, it improves clubs form based on average number.

Lineup

To be able to play match, there have to be at least 5 players in starting and 2 players in second lineup. If there are less then 7 players, opponent will win the match by 20:0. Also if there are less then 10 players for the match, team will gain handicep. Clicking on players name below manager can select first and second line up. Best strategy is to put player on his natural position and also not forceing him to play full game period because players stamina will rapidly drop.
