HiThere Webgame Platform Opens Today

Oak Pacific Interactive is pleased to announced that the long-anticipated browser-based game (webgame) platform is launched today.

At this release, OPI also released three browser-based game titles– Empire Craft, Tales of the Seas and Legendary Scroll.

About Hithere Platform

Oak Pacific Interactive (OPI) Game Center is the largest Chinese interactive entertainment base. It has developed a series of outstanding webgames with its highly innovative technology and superb marketing capability.

In 2006, OPI developed the largest Chinese webgame – The Travel of a Cat. This game generated huge popularity in the

domestic market.

When OPI’s 2D MMORPG game- Secrets of the Heavenly Book – completed its close beta test, this first ever browser-based game achieved another success. It was awarded “Best Webgame of the Year” among several industry competitions. Three Kingdoms, a webgame based on a well-known Chinese historical myth, also created legions of loyal players.

OPI’s Empire Craft with Western fantasy storyline has quickly gained popularity.  Within half a year, Empire Craft had over four million registered players and is on its way to expanding into Western markets.

“Open Minded and Creative, Adventurous and Persevering” ,  this is OPI Game Center’s guiding principle. This year OPI will expand its product lines, including the 2009 flagship webgame “Mountain and Sea Heroes” (temporary name), a Chinese-style knight legend; and “Lord of Wars”, a classical RTS webgame.

As an active advocate and practitioner of Web 2.0, OPI will carry on the netizen spirit, and establish itself as the major flagship of Chinese webgames developers and operators. With its superior technology, outstanding graphic quality, and creative content,

OPI will continuously produce a wide variety of products to satisfy the market needs.
