Michael Jackson Will Be Featured in a New Video Game

As you all know, a few weeks ago, the world lost one of its most iconic superstars, the legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Since then, we’ve been flooded with information about the famous singer, in regard to how he impacted the whole world through his actions.

We’ve even seen famous gaming company Sega offer its sincere regrets about the passing of the artist, as the Japanese corporation worked with the famous musician on quite a few projects, even having him star in his own title, Moonwalker, which was launched for older platforms in the 1990s.

Now, it seems that Michael Jackson’s legacy in gaming will only get bigger, as reports have surfaced that the former company of the superstar, MJJ Productions, was working on a video game that would have featured the singer. The development of the title is rumored to have been going on “for months.”

It seems that the project, which already has the likeness of the famous musician and his speech recorded, is set for a posthumous release, on “home consoles,” this winter holiday season. We do not know anything about what type of video game it will be, but rumors about the project were floating around even before the untimely demise of the singer.

Contacted for comment, a representative of MJJ Productions declared that: “ I am sure it will still be released. Michael loved games.” The same rep declined to comment on other speculations and didn’t reveal any details about the state of the project or just what type of game it would be. It seems that it will feature a big number of the star’s most iconic hits.

Hopefully we will learn more about this game as the winter season approaches. Until then, fans of the famous artist will still mourn the tragic loss of the King of Pop.
