1, How do I plant, harvest and water?

Plants and planting
When you start playing, you’ll be able to cultivate 2 different plants: Carrots and lettuce. Your first step will be to start planting (click on the pot on the top menu), your second to water your plants (by using the watering can – if you want to). Once your plants are grown, you’ll be able to harvest them (by using the sickle).

Watering
Watering your plants will make them grow faster. The effect of watering lasts for 24 hours. Once those 24 hours have passed, you can water your plants again. After you have harvested your plants, they will show up as seeds in your shelf (in the appropriate glass).

Points, bucks and weeds
You’ll receive points for every harvested plant, which will help you rise from level to level. Once you reach a new level, you will be able to plant and purchase new products. In the beginning you’ll have to fight against weeds, tree stumps and moles. Once you have earned your first Gnome Bucks, you’ll be able to get rid of them in no time!

2, How do I serve my customers?
Apart from selling to other players, you can also sell your products to your customers.

They will stop by at your garden randomly (4 per day if you don’t have any decoration points), and wait patiently until you serve them.

Click on a customer and he/she will show you her/his shopping list. You can either sell (if you have everything the customer would like to have in the required amount), send the customer away, or sell later.

I don’t have enough products – what can I do?
If you don’t have enough products, you can let your customers wait until you have them. Click on “later” under the heading: “Sell products now?” Then either buy enough products on the market place, or plant enough seeds until you are able to harvest enough products to sell everything the customer would like to have.

3, How do I make purchases in the shops?

Simply drag the goods that you want to buy into the shopping basket or cart and enter the amount you would like to purchase. Then click on the cash deck and you are done!

The money will be deducted from your account and the goods will be stored in your shelf.

4, Where has my watering helper gone?

The Watering Gnome comes with the level “Bean Counter”, to spend his internship helping you water your garden. An internship doesn’t last forever, however, and so he will disappear automatically as soon as you have reached the level “Harvest Helper”.

You can re-hire him any time though, with a Premium account and for a one-time fee of 1,000 gB, in Hedgerow Ville.

5, How do I get a third garden?

You can buy a second garden for 90.000 gB, as soon as you have reached the level “Mole Hunter” (level Cool.

A third garden is available with a premium account only.

6, Where can I buy a car?

in order to purchase a car, you need to upgrade your account to a premium account first. Please check the in-game help for further info on how to receive the premium account.

After having activated your premium account, take the bus (every Wednesday and Saturday) to Hedgerow Ville and visit the Toy Store, that will now be visible to you. Your first new car (a shiny red tractor) will cost you 500 gB. It will take you to Hedgerow Ville, Green Valley and your Garden(s) with just one click.

Once you get tired of your tractor, you can exchange it by buying a new car, or moped, that will replace your tractor.

Please notice that as a premium feature, you will only be able to us the car as long as you have a premium account. Once your premium membership runs out, your car won’t be available to you anymore. Renew your premium membership if you want to keep on using it.

7, What happens when my Premium Account runs out?

Premium features are only available as long as you have a Premium Account. When your premium account runs out, they are no longer accessible. But they won’t disappear entirely. As soon as you reactivate your Premium Account again (doesn’t matter when, it can be one day, or one month after it has run out), the shelves, cars or gardens you already purchased, will be available once more, without your having to buy them again.

Items you bought with Coins are independent from your Premium Account; they will always be available, after you have purchased them.

8, How do I get a second shelf?

If you would like to buy a second shelf (the shelf costs 10,000 gb), you need to have a premium account, and have at least reached the level “Allotment Holder” (level 9). As soon as your first shelf is filled, every additional product or plant you buy will automatically appear in the second shelf. Is there is enough space in your first one, the products will move back there.

9,How do I activate the second shelf?

To activate your shelf, you need to get a Premium Account first. (click on the small “c” above your garden, to purchase one, or enter the ingame help, to find out more about it). afterwards, you will see a lock appear on top of the little hut next to your shelf. Click the lock, and you will be asked if you would like to buy the second shelf. Click on “yes”, and the 10.000 gB will be deducted from your account, and the second shelf will be activated.

Freeing space in your first shelf, without getting a 2nd one
If you don’t have the required level yet, or don’t have a premium account, you can also make space in your first shelf, by sending all seeds of one plant to yourself via contract. (i.e. if you have 234 tomatoes, send a contract for 234 tomatoes to yourself). As soon as you send the contract, the seeds will disappear from your shelf and empty one slot. If you need them again, simply accept the contract, and they will reappear.

10, How do I get quests?

You will receive quests automatically as soon as you have reached level “Harvest Helper” (Level 5).

The quest notification will be sent to your mailbox; to complete the quest, you will have to go to the town “Green Valley”, and click on the quest arrow that will have appeared there. Send in the requested items, as soon as you have them. You will receive a reward when you have completed your quest.

It is your choice to complete the quest or not, but you cannot decline it. There will be no new quest, as long as you haven’t finished the one before.

Once you have finished your quest, you will have to wait 48 hours until you get the next one.

11, How do I sell on the market place?

Please follow these steps:

1. Visit the town Green Valley, then enter the market by clicking on it.

2. On the page that opens you will see all current offers. Underneath, you will find two options. Under “product overview”, you can select all offers of just one product – all offers for carrots, that are currently on the market, for instance, and the prices that they are selling for. Click on “show my market stall”, to see your own market stall, and to sell your own products.

3. Drag the product you would like to sell to the sacks on the right hand side. That is, click on them with your left mouse button, pull them over with your mouse, then let go of the left mouse button when you are exactly above the sacks.

4. A window will pop up, asking you to name the amount and price. Make sure you check the current market prices, before you enter the amount of money you’d like to sell your plants for. You can do so in the market overview.

5. Click on “offer at market now”.

6. You will be charged a 10% market fee for each offer. Click “ok” to accept the sales fee, close the window if you don’t want to pay it. Your offer will not be put on the market in that case.

7. Once your offer is on the market, you can see it on the right hand side. Click on the “x”, if you’d like to take it back from the market. Note, that you won’t be returned the 10% market fee, though!

Please always mind the current market prices. Offers with too high or low prices are not allowed. Players caught selling/buying at these prices will get banned from the game, in order to keep the game fair and equal for everyone.

12, How do I get a second garden?

After a little while, one garden won’ t be enough to grow all the plants you need. When you have reached that point, you should start to think about buying an additional garden. This will allow you to grow both plants that grow quickly, as well as those, that take a few hours, or even days to grow, at the same time.

You can buy a second garden for 90.000 gB, as soon as you have reached the level “Mole Hunter” (level Cool. A third garden is available with a premium account only.

13 How Do I sell my products?
Selling products & making money

In order to gain money within the game, you need to sell your harvest. You can either sell your produce directly to the customers that are waiting in front for your garden, on the in-game market place, via contracts, or the forum.

Selling to customers
To sell your vegetables and fruits to your customers, simply click on them, and they will show you their shopping lists. If you have enough produce, just click on “yes”, otherwise you need to grow some more.

Selling on the market place
To sell your products on the market place, click on the bike, that will take you to the town “Green Valley”. Click on “market place”, and enter your own market stall. Before putting your produce on the market, make sure to check the prices.

Note: You will be charged a 10% market fee for all the products you offer on the market place. These will not be returned, if you withdraw your offer.

Selling via contract
Sell directly to other players, sending them contracts. Click on the respective button on the top menu inside your garden, then choose “new contract” drag your products into the shopping cart, then enter price and number. Choose the recipient, and send the contract. The products will be taken from your shelf, and the money will be added to your account once the contract has been accepted. If the recipient declines your contract, the products will be returned to your shelf.

Selling on game forum
Place your offers on the game forum, via fixed prices or as auctions. Please mind the rules! Once sold, send the products to the agreed upon price to the recipient via contract.

Please always make sure to regard the current market prices; offers with too high prices or too low prices are against the game rules and may lead to the closing of your account.

Where can I buy new seeds?

You can buy new seeds:

1) From the farm and tree nursery in “Green Valley” (just take your bike to get there)

2) The flower store in “Hedgerow Ville” (you can reach the town every Wednesday and Saturday by bus from Green Valley, or daily if you have a car/tractor)

3) The market place: You can buy seeds from other players on the market place, or sell you own ones.

4) Via contract from other players

14, Coins & Premium Account

Premium Account

A Premium Account offers you quite a number of advantages:

Permanent waterin help
The watering helper will leave you when you reach level 5. The premium account will allow you to hire him permanently im the Research Center Hederow Ville, for a one-time payment of 1.000 gB.

Purchase Cars to get to Hedgerow Ville /Green Valley / your Gardens
Additionally, (also from level 5 onwards), you can now purchase cars that will allow you to jet to both cities and the market place in Green Valley via a direct link, so you won’t have to wait for the bus anymore, but can get to Hedgerow Ville any day of the week.

Additional Gardens
From level 8 onwards you can purchase a third additional garden for 90.000 gB, and from level 9 onwards you can purchase an additional storage shelf.

How to activate your Premium Account
In order to activate your premium account, you need at least 30 Coins, that you can exchange for Premium months; 30 Coins will activate the account for one month. The premium account will not renew itself automatically.

If you do not want, or are unable to purchase the premium account with real money, using one of the several payment methods we offer (such as Paypal, Walliecard, SMS or telephone payment), you can always trade for the Coins with ingame money.

Either visit the market place, and have a look at what the other players are offering, or place a Coin-request on game Forum. Purchase the Coins with the money you have made from selling your vegetables, fruits and flowers, and exchange them for premium months.
