Thresh Wars Review and Hands-on

I have been struck by what Thresh Wars delivers and contributes in today’s browser game market. It is far beyond a browser strategy game, but a graphically 3D MMO Game, Technically advanced flash game, Interactively multiplayer game, highly tactic online game, as well as ever role-playing game.

By quick signing up a free account, I have completed my registration, then I was trying to activate and log in the game.

In the main interface, I noticed four primary menus: Army, Lobby, Friends, Story. Actually, I copied the game story and scooped and linked Thresh Wars for a first-hand info or quick message to players who visit playbbg.com.

Create my account profile,

The fist step I filled out is my ingame profile. There are 34 Icons or avatars that can be chosen from, each of which is sheerly innovative, never inferior in comparison with Video game–The TransFormers. Interesting, I setup a motto for my army: Fight to death and never Bow. OH, Yeah, the system says ” Create your profile XP: 100 Yin: 10 Award Received!”

First Training,

I clicked the “Complete this campaign to win this award”, and it bring up a new interface, I was guessing that is a really game interface. Actually, I am in the Training Facility screen interface. Curious enough,  I used to view the Options and check if it could help me get started on the game quickly and familiarize myself with the game asap. To my surprise,  I switched into a Full screen mode, which brings the game compete with the Video game–Call of Duty, Modern Warfare.

As shown in the picture, the attributes- Health, Power, Armor, Speed, Range– decide the attack power of your armor and tank.

Here are some ingame tips:

You can drag the map to view the battle:

There are several ways to navigate the map:

1, Click On the mini-map

2, Use the Arrow key

3, Move the moose near the map border.

enemies need to be within your attack range to attack. Move into range, and a red target icon will appear. Click your target and select “attack”

Attacks may not be undone. Note the enemies shoot back! as many times as they have actions.

Clicking withing the green movement zone will move your unit to that point and count as a single action. A move may be reversed by clicking the unmove button.

Click your unit to select. selecting a unit will tell you how far this unit may travel, attack range, and avaiblale moves

Once you’ve exhausted your actions, it is time for your opponent to move. Click “End Turn” when you are sure that you are done.

To achieve victory

A victory is obtained by either destroying all enemy units, an enemy command center, or an enemy flag bearer.

Orientation

At the end of each turn units will point to the nearest enemy. All units have much weaker armor in the rear.

Take Cover.

Many battlefields offer cover. Smaller units may take advantage of forests and jungles, making them harder to hi (Work like extra armor)

High ground

It is always best to try to reach higher ground than your opponent. Peaks and hills are marked on the mini map in green.

Repair structure

If a unit takes a lot of damage, it is wise to make repairs. Move the unit within range of the repair center and left click. Select enter, and the unit will occupy one repair slot healing over time.

Deploy structure
Gaining control of a deploy structure will allow you to transport additional units to the battlefield during a game. Move units with range, left click and select control with each. Maintain control for one turn, and selecting of the deploy structure will offer you deploy options. Click drag your new units to the highlighted deploy zone.

Avatar

Presence indicator: when a commander is present the light will turn green.

guide toggle button: one click reveals the ranges for each unit of that army. another setting turns off the guides and default setting is to indicate the commander with a color glow.

In the game store, or lobby, you can add the army to your battle list if you have the Yin enough to do the operation.
